Store 32 Submission Guidelines

To submit materials derived from The Artifact by Store 32, review the terms of submission as outlined in this document. Fill out the Submission form found at theartifact.net on the download page. Email your submission to submission@theartifact.net

All submissions sent to the submissions@theartifact.net become sole property of Store 32 without compensation. As such, Store 32 reserves the right to reject any submissions without notice. Editing and modifications will be performed on each accepted submission to ensure quality and continuity of The Artifact storyline.

If submissions are “reprinted” in sourcebooks, or derivatives of the submission are included in future materials, the origenal Submitter may or may not be notified. Store 32 will be the sole arbiter of such decisions. Submitters will be given recognition in any “reprints” for their works along with free access to the final derived work. Submitted works may be entered in a “collection” as a sourcebook as viewed appropriate by Store 32. Store 32 reserves the right to “reprint”, or reuse any submitted material without permission, knowledge, or payment.

Should a Submitter's contact information become out of date, (because of relocation etc.) Store 32 will not be responsible for maintaining the Submitter's records. All information must be kept current by the Submitter.

Store 32 reserves all rights and legal authority in connection with it’s trademarks and copywritten works. We own all published intellectual properties. To preserve intellectual rights Store 32 The Artifact and all derivative works are sole property of Store 32
No derivative works of The Artifact may be published, posted, sold, or distributed except through Store 32 or by written permission from Store 32.

If you are under 18 years of age, you must gain the permission of your parent or legal guardian to submit anything to Store 32 each and every time you submit.

Original Stories based on The Artifact

Campaigns for game play

Original Equipment

Original Weapons

Original Vehicles

Original Skills or Expansions for Skills

Additional Game Rules or Charts

What do we mean by original? Anything that you came up with on your own or derived from The Artifact. Just as we at Store 32 wish to protect our own intellectual property, we wish to maintain the intellectual property of others.

What Store 32 is NOT Looking For

We cannot accept conversion rules for other games.

We cannot accept writings on or involving famous people (real or fictional), or objects.

Writings about world changing events. The Artifacts storyline is already set. Any “epic” (story altering) works will not be used unless you’re very lucky and hit just the right story. Store32 may work with a Submittor if an idea has special merit.

Game imbalancing equipment, weapons, vehicles or rules.

Guidelines

Use metric measurements in your figures. You may optionally include the American equivalent for reference.

Keep in mind materials already written in official releases, if your work directly contradicts what has already been published, cannot be used.
